Né en 1959 à El Jadida, M'hammed El Aadi a grandi à Ouled Frej où ses mains ont d'abord appris le langage de la terre. Sculpteur autodidacte devenu professionnel, il explore depuis plus de trois décennies les matériaux — bois, métal, pierre et marbre — pour créer des œuvres qui interrogent l'identité, la mémoire et l'équilibre du monde.
Son travail oscille entre formes organiques et géométrie abstraite, entre héritage marocain et langage contemporain universel. Chaque sculpture est une conversation entre la matière brute et la vision de l'artiste.
Born in 1959 in El Jadida, M'hammed El Aadi grew up in Ouled Frej where his hands first learned the language of earth. A self-taught sculptor turned professional, he has spent over three decades exploring materials — wood, metal, stone and marble — creating works that question identity, memory and the balance of the world.
His work oscillates between organic forms and abstract geometry, between Moroccan heritage and a universal contemporary language. Each sculpture is a conversation between raw matter and the artist's vision.
وُلد محمد العادي سنة 1959 بالجديدة، ونشأ في أولاد فرج حيث تعلّمت يداه أوّلاً لغة الأرض. نحّات عصامي أصبح محترفًا، يستكشف منذ أكثر من ثلاثة عقود مختلف المواد — الخشب والمعدن والحجر والرخام — ليبتكر أعمالًا تساءل الهوية والذاكرة وتوازن العالم.
يتأرجح عمله بين الأشكال العضوية والهندسة التجريدية، بين الموروث المغربي واللغة المعاصرة الكونية. كل منحوتة هي حوار بين المادة الخام ورؤية الفنان.
